Hello!!!Its Friday YAY!!!!Gotta love the end of the week cause it means its weekend time :)


This week has gone so fast, I think its because I have been so busy at work!

This mornings pics is me attempting to play ten pin bowling...and I should note I really suck at it. I would have won if the name of the game was to get the bowl in the gutter the most ;) haha!



We are now officially 2months and 3weeks to the day till the move!!!!YIPPPEEEE!!!!! I finalised all the bookings for the removers yesterday, Im such an organise queen ;)

So went out for a 35 mins big hill session this morning, did 10 reps of various hills in my suburb,the thing I love most about interval training is that its doesnt take long, is intense on my muscles and gets my heart rate right up, to the point I can feel my heart pumping against my chest..gotta love that :-D I love running as hard as I can to the top, setting myself goals at the bottom of each hill to push harder and faster!!


Eats have been spot on this week and I am really enjoying the clean food, most salads as well now with the warmer weather, also loving celery at the moment, so crisp and juicey. Its like drinking and eat at the same time!hehe..

What else...this weekend Pete and I are heading out to lunch here http://www.outincanberra.com.au/thedeck/ its forecast to be a gorgeous day weather wise so will be nice to sit out in the sun! Ive started fake tanning this week as its starting to get to warm for jeans so atleast ill know I wont blind anyone with my white legs ;)

What a totally fabulous day it is today! This warm weather and lots of sunshine we are having makes me sooooo HAPPY :-D It was even warm last night!

Up this morning just before 6am and did biceps and triceps, I trained at home this morning for something different and used resistance bands to workout with. They work really well too! Im already a little sore in the bicep muscles :)
It was then off for a 30min jog / interval session around the hilly areas of my suburb. I really sweated it out and even got to see the sun rise over the mountain range!! Such a beautiful time of the day when the air is fresh and its nice and quiet.

Eats today are also yummy and great...breakfast : oats with protein and chopped almonds and walnuts for breakfast, morning tea: corn crackers with a little peanut butter and a shake, lunch: tuna,beetroot and celery chopped up together followed by a serve of pumkin and garlic soup...Im very satisfied indeedie and feel clean for eating good foods.

So its 2months, 3weeks and 2 days till we move. Its getting so close and even more exciting now.

Fab weekend

Good Morning Happy Bloggers! I hope you all had a fantastic weekend? My weekend started on Saturday morning with a legs session, followed by an hour walk with Pete and my dog. It was such a gorgeous morning and Im loving it now its starting to warm up!
We then did our grocery shopping..one of my fav things to do on the weekend because it means fresh food in the house again and planning of all our weekly meals.
My room mate, Pete and I then all went out for some lunch at Gold creek and we had a yummy hamburger..havent had one of these in ages! After that it was back home to relax on the deck with a couple of cold beers. Ive actually gotten onto the new low carb beers called Bondi blonde. They are pretty much like a corona! and we added the lemon in...was very nice indeedie :)

Sunday we got up early and took Bull out for another hours walk and then it was a family lunch for Petes brothers birthday (which is actually today) and we all went for Turkish. I had a very nice turkish salad....same ingredients as a greek salad but at a turkish restaurant! It was a beautiful day to be out.

So back to work today...id rather be outdoors but what are you going to do! Todays session is 10x running up 3 floors of stairs and walk down recovery! I do this session on the fire stairs at work and I also get so sore in the legs! I love it :-D
Have prepared tuna salads for this weeks lunches and a yummy webber tonight for dinner, we have chicken! YUM!

I have also put some positive affirmations up at work around my desk, its nice reading positive things all day..keep me in a great frame of mind!!

airing your washing

Its amazing how 'airing your washing' can make you feel.
At work there has been some tension with alot of people within my team, so this morning we all went into a meeting room and talked about work, how we are feeling and just things in general.

The meeting wasnt heated at all and everyone was very adult and just spoke about what was getting them down.
After the meeting we all went back to our desks and guess what....there is a buzz in the air! People are talking and I can feel a nice energy again.
I think its so important to express how you feel and get things off your chest. There is no need to be nasty when doing this but it sure feels better getting things off your chest and just letting others know that you are only human to!

Im pretty new in the area that I am currently working so had no issues with anyone, except that some of these people are in the late 30's and even hitting 50 and that they still after all these years cant express themselves. I wonder why this is..? Is it that we are just programmed to be this way? or that people are not being honest with themselves?

It makes me feel like the kind of person I am and the kind I want to be. Team building is definitely an important factor in the work place I believe, not to mention in our lives. You are a team with your partner, friends and family we should all learn that we are different and that we react differently to all sorts of situations.
I feel like a better person today for learning this :)

So training was great this morning, I did shoulders and abs, followed by 20mins of hill reps! Was funny as I was running up and down this massive street near my place this morning and people on their way to work watching me...some of them looked shocked that I could be out there at 6.30am doing my training..it just pushed me harder!

Nutrition this week has been spot on and I feel incontrol. Im hanging for the weekend, Pete and I are heading out to lunch at Gold Creek (a place near my house) that has lots of cafes, and little shops. We are going to the Tavern, its an old pub and they have done up. We can sit in the outside area where the afternoon sun comes in and relax with a drink and watch the world go by! I love those kind of weekends where there is no rush and no plans.

and there then was a house!


Hey all :)

Guess what.....we have a house!!!! well almost, still got a bit of building to go but they have started on the interior this week :-D

Its exciting times!

So I have been missing for a long long time..were have I been? what have I been doing? besides training, booking all things to do with the QLD move and work, not alot.
I just didnt have much to say on blogger, kinda felt a bit lost and felt I was a bit boring in my blogs, so I gave it all a rest for while. I must say I have missed the energy that other bloggers give me when I read their blogs and seeing what other have been up to!
So Im back :)
Training has been going well, although at one stage there (about 1 1/2 weeks) I got out of the gym routine and lifting weights. This made me sad, so Ive been back in there and working hard. Ive also been doing lots of interval type sessions!
Work has been busy and Ive been learning new stuff..not really that exciting but its new and makes the days go faster.

Ive planned and booked everything for the new house and ordered our new home gym :) Now this has been a totally exciting and although the equipment has gone about $2k over budget we have some awesome commercial equipment coming our way!! We are getting a leg press, double cable cross, incline and flat bench, olympic bar, cable attachments, some 20kg, 10kg, 5kg, 2.5kg and 1.25kg plates and a dumb bell range that goes all the way from 5kg to 60kg!!...although only Pete will be using the big boys ;) COOL HA!

Im so over ACT now (especially the cold) and ready to get to QLD!!!!Ive never wanted something so bad in all my life.

So ill have to get round to all the blogs I love to read and get my shit together and start blogging again :)
