Nutrition

Spin class last night was great! went very hard on the hill climbs, also did some abs/pilates yesterday and my abs are feeling it today.
After spin I went and talked to a guy at the supplement shop for some advice on my nutrition, I knew I was still eating to low in cals a day but Ive been doing my head in over it all!what to eat, is it to many cals, then is my exercise right...seriously driving myself nuts!
So he had given me a good plan to stick to and a nutritional plan that is 1300 cals a day...much better then the 900/1000 cals I have been having.
Im including fish oil tabs and some flaxseed oil into my diet. Also changing my regular tofu at lunch to salmon. So I feel better now I have talked to someone about it. Im also going to keep a diary and show him in a few weeks :)
My weight training and cardio has been looked at and now Im also on the right track with that.

Other than that its REST DAY today and I had a sleep in which was sooo nice! ill take my dog out for a nice long (slow) walk tomorrow, also going to Magnet mart tomorrow to buy some herbs and vegie plants as I am starting a little garden at home...will be fun and good to have fresh food on hand!

Its such a sunny day today in the ACT, although there is a breeze thats rather cool...but atleast there is blue skys!

I hope everyone has a fabulous weekend :)
also I read Splice's blog today and just want to say WOW!! She is doing so very well and I can see that this journey she is on is taking her to bigger and better things in her life..

OK, obviously Magnet Mart is not a store that specialises in magnets??? LOL!!

I definitely agree that 900/1000 calories is way too low... especially if you are trying to gain muscle and lose fat. You don't want your body to go into starvation mode and protect it's fat stores. There is a fine line between eating too much and not eating enough. It sounds like you have got some good help there though!!

Keep up the great work hon xxx
